Treat yourself to the exquisitely indulgent moments and regal charm with the majestic mansion of the Thakurs of Alsisar at Alsisar Haveli- the heritage hotel in Jaipur.
More than five centuries ago, the grandson of Maharaja Udaikaran of Amer, the great warrior Maharao Shekhaji, founded a sub-clan popularly known as “Shekhawat”. The Alsisar Hotels is owned by this branch of the “Kachawa” clan of Rajputs. The descendants of the family have since restructured and refurbished many of the old family mansions and palaces to manage a portfolio of some of the best heritage and luxury hotels.
"We were doing the golden triangle, with a few extensions, over 16 days and stayed in several good hotels at 4 and 5 star. This place is, for me, the best place by far! After driving through the hustle and bustle of the town and out on a street full of market stalls and shops with people milling around in what looks like total chaos we turned through a narrow arch into a courtyard of total tranquility. The hotel is beautiful large and spacious with tall ceilings and period decor, the courtyards between the buildings are cool and elegant, the pool is warm and inviting and the staff are excellent. The dinning room is a must, it's decor, height and overall elegance sum up the late Victorian opulence of when the house was built."

Jaipur- the Capital City of Rajasthan aptly exemplifies the character of the state and its people. Encompassed by rugged hills on three sides, each crowned by formidable fort and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts. The Jaipur city was laid with great precision; it could also be called as the first planned city of the country. The incredible cross road planning of paths were skillfully designed and surrounded by a peripheral wall with huge gates guarding it. This colorful city is enriched with vivacious tradition and culture, ancient monuments, Forts, Palaces-like the stunning City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort, Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort are some of the most exquisite blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture.
